Visiting Bayterek Tower Visiting Bayterek Tower with my family felt like stepping into one of those moments you know you’ll remember long after you fly back home. The structure itself is striking even from a distance, rising above Astana in this almost surreal, futuristic way. But what really made the visit special wasn’t just the tower—it was the way the whole experience tied together with the city around it and the time I got to spend with my family.

excellent on a clear day, but not for photography there are too many pokey structures and unfriendly glass that preclude photography, but it is still worth a trip up via the elevator for a bird eye view of the modern city of astana especially since you cant get that close to the presidential palace (police and barricades all about)

Go to the top is a must do when visit Astana Upon arrival at noon, there was a lunch break, but after waiting for half an hour, we were able to take the elevator up. With a few more stairs, we reached the top of the tower, offering a panoramic view of the city through the glass. On the floor of the elevator, there was a small café where we had a sandwich.

Must see in Astana/Nur-Sultan It’s easy access to get to, it’s a must see. It’s 97 meters/319 feet tall. The USD/£/€ goes a long way, the entrance fee was a few dollars. The view from the top is AMAZING. My top to do pick. After you can walk to many of the other sites. It‘s very hot in the summer temps got up to 108F, average was 90F evenings got down to 85F.
